I too have lowrance unit which is the reverse. it is powering up by itself as opposed to not powering up,despite checking fuses/lines which are ok. If you are lucky enough to be under warranty, take it back. If unlucky, you too, like me have paid big bux for something that has perhaps lasted only a few years and should last a lot more, given what you perhaps paid for it.
Technical expert advise is that initially the unit will power up by itself but now has progressed to not powering up.You may have a problem with the keypad failing. the bubble type press pad. The wiring shorts and the unit jumps voltage across the keyboard which "tricks" the unit into thinking that you have pressed the power key. After a period of time the unit problem will just progress to not powering up at all. basically the unit has ulitmately failed with time. Short of perhaps definitely stating the unit hasnt been hit or dropped, i suggest if you are in Oz, contact lowrance service in Sydney who are happy to help. they have a possible solution whereby you send in the unit, and they check it.
Generally if not deemed repairable they will replace it with a new similar unit. the only catch is you are up for X (few hundred dollars). this might seem a bitter pill, but you are only charged about a third or half of what a new replacement unit would cost. they give you an updated current model similar to what you have. Im prepared to take that option as it is a cheaper alternative to starting again and paying top dollar. Ive never experienced a power up/down and short of yelling at my son thinking he was playing with the unit, i will have to eat pie and realise with these sort of temperamental gadgets they can fail in the un normal way. Hope it helps. Kahuna 430

No power to my sceptre e325bv-hdh. no visible damage or loose connections. need ideas on what to check and or replace. working on it as a diy project

First check that AC is reaching the Power unit with a meter.
then check that DC is coming out.of the power unit.
If it isnt reaching the power unit then its the ac cable or fuse.
If it is reaching the power unit but nothing out on the DC side
then its the power unit. If DC is there then a fuse on the board may be the problem, If ok then look for any burnt components. Make sure the TV is unplugged from the wall socket though. Be careful there are voltages that can kill!

I have a printer epson stylus c45 and the problem is no power what will i do please help me

If it doesn't power up completely and you are sure the power source is ok, then your unit most probably has a faulty power supply unit. it could though be a simple blown fuse. you will have the unit opened, inspected and if fuse ok, then replace the power supply unit.

Dead

I am assuming that your unit cannot be powered up at this time. this is the result of a failed fuse or power supply board. remove the cover and check the in-line fuse(if equipped). if the fuse is OK, replace the entire power board. Now, if you unit isn't equipped with a fuse, you will need to check the solder on the power cord. make sure it is soldered on the power board correctly. if its not loose and, it is connected securely to the power board, replace the power board.

THE COMPUTER IS NOT WOKING

Check the power cable/cord for continuity with your multimeter ok. Make sure also that the mains or power outlet is giving the right voltage. This is also done by the use of the multimeter - either analog or digital - any one at your disposal can do ok. if all work well, then the power supply unit should be removed from the system unit, connected directly with the power cord and then bridged. That is at the secondary output which connects to the system motheboard. Locate the power-on cable(normally green in colour) and bridge it with any black cable on the same row. The cooling fan at the back of the power unit should be rolling if the unit is ok. Good luck
