Simply plug it into the PC. If the PC is an ME/2000/XP it should recognise the camers and put up the camera/scanner wizard. Come back tell us what you get, You do not need the software from the CD- if it is in- Take it out.

Check uot - Internal Memory - up loading images

How to transfer internal memory to memory. When I inserted the card, the images became 0.

I'm sorry for the difficulties you're experiencing in copying images from Internal Memory to the Memory Card. Unfortunately, COPY option is not available in DSCT700.

You may connect the Camera to Computer after removing the Memory Card to transfer images from Internal Memory to Computer. And then insert the Memory Stick and transfer back to Camera to copy the images to Memory Stick.
Only few Cameras do not have the COPY option. Unfortunately, you're one of the victim.
You can confirm the information from the Handbook of the Camera.
Click hear to download the Handbook for the Camera.
Thanks for understanding. Please let me know if you require any clarifications.

How to save a picture to a memory stick,,

Hi,

Even if the Memory Stick Duo is inserted in the Camera, the images will not be saved in the Memory Stick Duo until the capacity of the Internal Memory is full. To save the images in the Internal Memory to the Memory Stick Duo, select the EXPORT option from the Viewing Menu of the Camera. Touch the MENU icon when viewing images to select the IMPORT option.
There are two option in the Viewing Menu of the Camera (Export and Import). Export option is to save from Internal Memory to Memory Stick and Import is for saving from Memory Stick to the Internal Memory.
This Camera is having 4GB of Internal Memory, hence the images captured will get saved in the Internal Memory first and then to Memory Stick once the Internal Memory is full.

Thanks for using FixYa

''SYSTEM ERROR'' & How can I retrieve back images? URGENT. Please.

Sorry for the late reply. You should take the memory card out of your camera first and connect it to another comptuer(via a card reader or so), you are possibly to recover the lost photos with so-called photo recovery software but it's not 100% sure. Well, since you failed to mention the OS you are running, I'll recommend you have a try of Wondershare Photo Recovery, a program equipped with both Windows and Mac versions. For Windows OS, download here. If you are running Mac OS X, get the program from this link.

Step-to-Step Instruction:

1. Download and install the trial version on your computer, then connect your camera memory card to the computer (I assume you are using Windows). Start Wondershare Photo Recovery and select the drive letter that assigned to camera memory card.
2. Then choose the file type (all, photo, video, music) click "Star Scan".
3. Now the scanning process will start automatically to look for the deleted items. You will then get a list of all recoverable ones.
4. Preview the photos. If your deleted ones are found, then you need pay to get the activation code. And click "Recover".

Tips:
1. Take the free trial version before you buy.
2. Before your deleted items are recovered, do not take more photos or videos.

I hope you good luck,

My camera says "images recorded to internal memory"

pdf user manual is available for free on Fujifilm site, http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital_cameras/z/finepix_z20fd/pdf/index/finepix_z20fd_manual_01.pdf

You should either :
- connect your camera directly to the PC with provided USB cable, after recognition of the camera by the computer (may take some time), you will see the camera like a disk in the file explorer, and have two different folders representing internal memory and the removable memory card, just browse in the directorys and you will find the picture.
- or send the picture by infrared, see pages 56 of your user manual (probably not the simplest way, as the comuter may not accept infrared transmition).
- or use the cameras menu to transfer the pictures from internal memory to removable memory. You must enter picture displaying mode, the presse menu, you have an "copy" option to transfer between internal memory and memory card, see page 76 from user manual. Then you just get the card out and read it as you ever do.

Hope this will help.

I HAVE A SONY DIGI CAM MODEL DSC W-5. MY PC IS NOW UPGRADED WITH WINDOWS VISTA AND SINCE THEN IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO DOWNLOAD THE PICTURE TO PC. THE INSTALLATION CD ISSUED WITH CAMERA DOES NOT COMPITABLE...

  1. Turn on the camera.
  2. Insert the recording media containing the pictures into the camera.
  3. Depending on your camera, set the USB Connection or Transfer mode setting in the menu to the Mass Storage , Normal , or PTP .
  4. Use the USB cable supplied with the camera to connect the camera to the computer. IMPORTANT:
    • Connection through a USB hub or other USB device -- such as a printer or keyboard -- is not supported and cannot be guaranteed. Connect the camera directly to a USB port on the computer.
    • If the USB connection from the camera is not recognized by the computer, disconnect the USB cable and repeat steps 4 and 5 using a different USB Connection or Transfer mode setting. If the connection is still not recognized, further troubleshooting is available.

    NOTES:
    • The computer will automatically install the USB driver for the camera.
    • When the camera connection is established, an AutoPlay window will appear.

  5. In the AutoPlay window, click Import pictures .
  6. In the Importing Pictures and Videos window, click the Import button. NOTE: After the pictures have been imported, the Windows Photo Gallery window will appear and display thumbnails of the imported images.
If this doesn't work there is an updated driver available

Hi , I get an error message everytime I try to view my saved snap

Sounds like there's a problem with the memory card. Reformat it with the camera or try a different (new) one.
Cheers

How to do I transfer pictures from my internal memory to my memory stick?

Without looking for a manual on your camera, normally there is function in your camera menu to copy or transfer over to your memory stick, or maybe you can transfer the picture firstly to your pc(if you have one), then back across to your stick, by simply drag n drop as normal.
