Question about Ovens

Doesn't get as hot as it should

I have a Viking Professional with double oven, the right side (larger oven) does not come up to full temperature, although it gets hot -maybe 250 if I set it at 350. It didn't seem like the light that goes off when it reaches temp goes off either. Any suggestions on what's wrong?

The range has two thermostats one for each oven located under the oven knobs. put a meat thermometer in the oven and adjust the thermostat screw with a small flat screwdriver untill the oven turns off at the correct knob temp.
registered on the thermometer.
then adjust the knob screw on the back of the knob to match that temp setting.
clockwise is hotter counterclockwise is cooler

How long to run self clean on viking professional

The "Self Clean" will run for quite a while up to 4 hours I believe, during this time, the stove heats up to about 900 degrees!! and during this time the Door is automatically closed via special locks. It will allow you to open once it is finished, it should "Signal" this event.

Broiler doesn't turn on completely

The top element should come on when Broiler is selected. If both ovens have a broiler mode, then look for something failed in the circuit for the broiler heating elements (it's unlikely both broiler elements would fail together.). If there is only 1 oven with a broiler, look for a failed broiler element.

Adjust the knob to the actual temperature. There are usually screws inside toe back of the knob for this purpose.

Probably a faulty heater element, some ovens have more than one element in the compartment, so it is possible you only have part heat.

My oven runs about 100 degrees hotter than the dial says

Check the temperature select knob. On the inside of the knob there should be an adjuster.

The temperature probe may be the faulty component since this is an integrated machine.
