Question about Heating & Cooling
AC COMPRESOR WANT WORK .HOW DO I REPLACED IT ?
Remove and save the freon gas using a recovery machine. Use a torch to remove the high and low side tubing from the old compressor. remove the old compressor ans connect another in its place. Install a new filter drier. Remove the air from the system with a vacuum pump and and recharge the system using guages and new freon. Fairly simple but as you can see a lot of specialty equipment is needed. You cannot buy the freon without a card, and noboody in the business is going to be willing to sell you a compressor if you are not in the business.
