It is pretty reasonable to think that the overclocking is the problem here. the 64bit is probably more of a strain and is causing the system to overheat etc.

The following link loads the overview of the ASUS M4N78-AM board. To get to the CPU support list, click the "CPU Support List" Tab:

Note: BIOS revision 0901 is not correct for Phenom processors. Nor can I find your exact cpu listed.

VIA RAMA U8668 (PRO) sound driver problem

You are going to have to physically look at your mainboard.
The reems of drivel you posted are all but useless, but for one line:
Motherboard Name VIARAMA U8668 (Pro)

This line ids your board as a Biostar U8668, but what you HAVE to verify is the Pro part.

Here are the downloads for a U8668:
(it uses a C-Media audio driver)

Here are the downloads for a U8668 Pro:
(it uses a VIA audio driver)

If you physically LOOK at your board as seen here:
You will notice that just above (or to the left when mounted in a case) the ram slots the model number is printed on the board, what you have to verify is if "Pro" follows the U8668, and then use the appropriate driver.

Suggest Asus mother board

depending on the type of system you might want.
mid class with 4 to 8 gb ram I would choose M3A78-CM. Its a UATX (small platform) but its really stable.

upper class if you plan to use above 8gb ram. I would choose M4N78 PRO. It gives you a more PCI slots over the M3A78-CM and just as stable.
