Question about Water Heaters
Wonder if anyone can help. My WB HF400 boiler regulary starts 'clicking'repeatedly. When I look at the circuit board, there is a sort of gasfilled diode or something labelled SG1 and it keeps flashing and at thesame time, the relay labelled K2 clicks on and off. It doesn't heatwhen in this mode. Then, when it settles down, it seems to worknormally for a while before it starts again.
Just wanted to check if it something simple asI had a problem a couple of months ago and I called WB, for an expensive engineer to cut an inchoff the end of the plastic pressure sensor pipe which had a pin-hole init - wonder if it is a similar problem.
The clicking sound is the ignitor trying to lite the gas, as far as having a tech come out couldn't hurt, it is hard to help alot of people without hands on but if the situation is the same as before the it should take the same remedy to fix, but a tech is allways good to have around,
