Photos from cell phone to computer

I have a Motorola W490 cell phone. I want to transfer the pictures from my phone to my computer. I have a USB cable but no software/drivers. I DO NOT want to spend $50 to buy the software from Motorola. A few months ago I found a website that offered a free software trial to do the job, but now I cannot find that website again. Do you know of any website offering free, or free-trial software to transfer files from phone to computer?

Yes, but, my computer doesn't recognize my cell phone as a "removable device" so when I plug it in, it is not there.

    dont need software.

    1. go to "mycomputer"

    2. plug in phone to computer wait for a few seconds. should be a new icon under "devices and

removable storage" probably says "removable disk", click on it.

    3. click on folder that says"mobile"

    4. click on folder that says "photo" and there you are. now click to view pics or cut, copy..ect

you can also go up to "veiws" to change to "veiw thumbnails" to see all your photos as icons for

    easier search

Transfer pictures from phone to computer. FIFO spam for years on FIXYA.

I found an easy step by step to do this.
  1. Connect the USB cable to the computer and the phone.
  2. In the phone: When you attach the USB cable to the phone, a USB connection window appears, Select File transfer.
  3. On the computer: Open My Computer and your phone will be visible as a removable disk.
  4. Double-click the removable disk.
  5. Here you will find specific folders (depending on your phone model) where your pictures are stored.
  6. Drag and drop or copy and paste the picture from this folder to a folder on your computer.
  7. Disconnect the phone from the USB cable.
The picture is now transferred to your computer.

Hope this helps

How do I upload pictures to my computer

Either your phone came with a USB cable that you can connect to your computer to transfer photos (if so, manual for phone should detail procedure for this), or you can email photos from your phone to yourself, and then open your email on your computer and download the attachment photos and save them.

How can i transfer pictures from my phone with a USB cable to my computer?

Good morning to you all, the USB cable I use is a micro USB.Themicrobit goes in the phone where you see the USB icon/sign the other end into the computer with the other UBS connetions are.
Once the computer has accepted the USB a sign comes on you screen.which asks you what you want to do with this hardware. Then you click on the sign that indicates "transfer pictures into a file in the computer.

How do I transfer data from my Motorola RAZR V3xx to v9 please?

I can get pictures off of the original phone. but not messages.
I know how to transfer photos to the new phone, but you have to text message them to yourself. obviously, unless you have unlimited pix and data, this will cost you alot on your next bill.

to transfer pictures off of the original phone:
purchase Datapilot
install it
hook your phone to your computer with a USB cable (doesn't have to be a susteen, datapilot, or verizon cable, this can be any cable.
transfer your photos.
