I am tempted to think that you are considering relocating the IAT. Not sure for a 2008 model but if you have brown and white/pink, then they would be pins 1 & 6 for the IAT. To confirm, pin2 would be IGN B+12, pin3 is ground, 4 & 5 would be the MAF.
Hope you can wing it from this. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

I had to tune my A2s in order to have some blades @1200 and some .... 2.switching pools, pool priority setting, frequ setting, temp sensor, core ...
But anyways, the AIT should be in the MAF Sensor. Hence all the wires.
OK so i havent taken apart a MAF sensor and neither should you, its a pricey item.
But I do know this; An AIT is an NTC sensor meaning that when tempurature goes resistance goes down and when resistance goes down Voltage goes up. Now one thing you can do is find a wiring diagram of the maf sensor and the vehicles computer. And on there it will show you which wire goes to the AIT.
the mass air flow sensor is located between the air filter housing and the air inlet to the intake manifold, remove the two band clamps holding the maf sensor, clean when cold with CRC mass air flow sensor, remember to take off the three wire plug to the maf sensor, get back to me if you need more help, please rate my fix as i strive to be the best, problems, get back to me
mass air flow sensor may have fuzz on it from the air cleaner, check it out its in the air breather tube. That may change the readings on the air temp sensor(which i assume what "ait sensor" is supposed to be)
