Re: printing blank pages

The head is most likely clogged. If your a "do-it-yourself" kind then you can click on over to and search for your printer and order some cleaning fluid. There is a vinyl tube that is near the printer head that could be clogged as well. It is very hard to remove the crud in there but it can be done.

I have not been using the Brother MFC 465CN printer for a while. Bought and installed new cartridges, cleaned the print head several times (from the printer menu option). But, nothing is getting printed....

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent inkdrying out in the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer thanreplace the print head.

All the pages I print are blank. There is sufficient ink the print preview shows the image but the actual print out is blank

Sounds like your print heads are clogged. This is quite common. Go into your printer's menu and find the maintenance menu and follow the steps to clean your print heads. Run the process everal times until the prints are 100%. Then run a printhead alignment. Regardless of whether your not your ink is full, if cleaning the heads several times does not solve the issue, put new ink cartridges in because you may have bad cartridges. If that doesn't work, you've got bigger issues, contact the manufacturer.

It will not print. It has new ink cartridges..There are no error messages. Print heads have been cleand several times. It will not print a test pattern. It will not make a copy. Only blank paper comes out.

Head cleaning is mechanical process, printing is electrical process. Nothing print out at all? Printer mainboard problem. Lost electrical to head. Usually caused by short circuit at head. Track on aicaxz solution for reference to repair board. Note: if you have experience in electrical circuit, test mounted fuse at board.

I replaced both ink cartridges for the printer, won' print.

Please follow the procedure your printer has which forces it printer to clean the print heads.
I have experience of other epson stylus models.  I have previously spoken to epson about this exact problem.  Repeating the head cleaning process a minimum 5 times cleared the problem.
Running head clean multiple times in succession builds up pressure in the print heads - causing (usually new) cartridges to work correctly.
kind regards

Have you been using the printer lately? Is the ink dried up? Have you gone into the printer preferences to check your settings?

Printer won't print

If you have not performed the exact procedure described on page 12-15 in Chapter 12, Troubleshooting and routine maintenance, of the Users Manual, do so.

Heed the last paragraph of this page: If you clean the print head at least five times and the print has not improved, call Brother Customer Service (see Brother numbers on page i).

Won't print(after changing cartridges

blank pages and bad print are not the same problem. Regarding costly ink, a epson printer tech told me once that the secrete to cleaning a bad print head was to run deep clean 7 times in a row and then a head test and it has worked for me several times on other printers (not an expert here, just personal experience).

Additional note, I have seen both cleaning chemicals and cleaning cartridges on the web, example, searching google for one for my printer I would search for cc-bci-6c which is for a canon cyan cleaning cartridge. Don't know if they work but in case it helps.. good luck.

Blank pages are indicative ofdried ink.

If the printer has not been used for a long time ink may have settled and dried in the heads.

You may need to replace the cartridges (IF they are very old) and run several head cleanings if there is no improvement.

I typicall try to print a few test pages to see if some of the color work.
