Question about Skull Candy Lowrider Headphones
I have a pair of Skullcandy lowriders and I think there is a loose wire at the jack, sound only plays through one ear unless I twist and move the jack to a VERY precise angle. I do have a warranty to replace them..but i recently got them signed by my favourite band so I really dont want to part with them. Any advice to fix this?
You will have to buy a replace ment jack and solder the connections. These cords seem to have different colors between manufacturers but start by soldering the green or blue (left) to the tip of the plug, the next ring to the red(right) wire and the base to the copper(ground) wire. Try to get a plug with a metal shield that unscrews and make sure you thread the cable through the shield right way around( threads towards plug before you solder.
