After checking with volmeter, how do I reseat each inside hardware? I still suspect a virus.

You need to check your laptop`s power supply first and you can do this using voltmeter to ensure that output voltage is matching prescribed output otherwise you may need to use a new charger.

hi generally most new laptop have a internal shut off if there is some kind of power surge, here is the solution to try it works on most laptops these days but dosnt get documented enough
1 Removed the battery and power cord from the laptop
2 Press and hold the power button on the laptop for 30-60 seconds ( the longer the better)
3 Connect the powercord to the laptop but leave the battery out
4 Try and power on your laptop - if it turns on you are good to go just reinsert you battery and repeat if it happens again

Hp dv7 power supply beeping, wont charge

If the adapter is faulty you need a new one.
Check power adapter's DC plug that connects into the laptop power socket with a multi-meter, the voltage should be slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on the bottom of the adapter. If the voltage is zero or way below the voltage that is printed on the label then the power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced.

I lost my power cord to asus laptop, and my laptop wont charge with other power cords, so do I need to just buy a new power cord? or because it wont power up is there something wrong with my laptop?

You will need to buy another power cord for the exact model of your laptop. You can either find it in local computer stores, or you can search for it on ebay.com (usually search by laptop make & model, & usually buy from a top seller).

No firmware after power failure

I really have no idea if this si a computer or something else.
If it's a laptop, you should have a partition with the software already downloaded, all you have to do is a restore to factory using the partition. It is called D2D.
Again, if it's a laptop, and you have no idea what I'm talking about, then I recommend that you take it to a professional, they will fix it without downloading the software.

WONT TURN ON

Most laptop batteries die from being left plugged in to power all the time. It's a good idea to run it from battery as much as possible.

Try removing the battery and running it on the power supply only. If this works you need a new battery.
