Problem to locate the channel after the power is switched on

Hello ! My radio is an Futaba PCM 1024 Wc2 and a module : Spectrum
2,4 GHz DSM2 DM8 FUT . The problem is that efter switching on the power on the transmitter the system have serious problem locating a channel , the other led on the masterreceiver stays''black'' and the servos are in their limitpositions. It is not good for the helicopterlinkage.
I tried 15 times yesterday and only two times it worked !
Please tell me what to do, I bought the radio as used.

    Hello !

    I tried to move back and forward the antennacable and checked the screw on the module but I couldn´t
    find anything wrong. Is there any tips how I can test it ? Can I mesure something ?
    I did the mentioned testing while the problem was "going on "

    Hello !

    I asked my friend about my problem an he said that the problem seems to be a binding-problem.
    I trid to bind it again but no success. Then my friend suggesteg that I should try connect the power the other way (first receiver and then transmitter) Belive it or not but it worked !

    Sometimes I can notice the same problem but cycling the power is enough to solve the problem

Dear antina has no work and sometimes service provider has fault/unavailable or you are out of coverage from coverage area.plesae contact your service provider...thanks dear it is not major problem....

OR:
your transmitter has a problem please consult the radio mechanic.

Yes binding is usually a big killer in R/C transmitters and receivers. What kind of helicopter do you own. I haven't gotten past using the nitro cars and planes yet since I've heard that helicopters are a lot harder to control from alot of other guys. Glad you fixed the problem. Have a great night.

Hi Tom,

That is probably because of a broken contacts to antenna, if no part replacement is required Futaba will repair it for $15, Click here or give them a call.

    If it is a broken wiring to antenna you usually can see it.
    Once you are sure this is the radio problem, but antenna is fine, and also it is not a problem with the chopper receiver, then the best thing to do is contacting Futaba at 1-217-398-0007 , they are available Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm U.S. Central Standard Time.

    The repair will cost $15 plus parts, if this is a bad component it will be $20 or between $30/$40.
    The factory repair is so inexpensive that is not worth troubleshooting the board unless you find a fault at a glance.

    Just do the following:
    Remove batteries and test the radio with fresh batteries (sure you have done it already).
    Ensure it is not the chopper.
    Inspect contacts to antenna , see if you can see broken solder joints on antenna contact. Wiring can be tested using a multimeter set on impedance (Ohms) , if impedance is infinite between two points, then there is no contact:How To Use a Multimeter

    You can also inspect the board for faulty components, but this kind of problems are difficult to troubleshoot without a service manual.
    Unless you find a clear problem on the aerial, if you are sure it is the radio, then the best thing to do is calling and asking a quote on repair,

    If connecting first receiver then transmitter worked, then the transmitter is fine, and you won't have the problem on other receivers. Just receiver and transmitter do not have same resonance frequency.

A module with a class 2 serial data circuit malfunction or which loses power during the current ignition cycle will have a Loss of Communication DTC set by other modules that depend on information from that failed module. The electronic brake control module is communicating , no need to bother the PCM . The code was set in pcm because it lost communication with EBCM , PCM not the problem .
