Question about Canon PIXMA MP780 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Printer is on, all cords connected, but when asked to print gives the message "Printer not responding."

Disconnect the USB cable from the computer. Reboot the system, once the system has completed reboot, plug in the USB cable between the PC and printer. The system should sense the printer and install the printer. Go to the printer folder in the control panel (START). You should see your printer. Select the printer, Double-click, Select File, Select Properties, Select Maintenance, Print Test Page.
This should clear the problem.

printer offline means disconnected or turned off.
did you try to check if its selected as default to your computer?.
1, check device and printer of your computer and make your printer default,
2, use the usb cord of the printer first, so you could use your printer and configure it to wifi setup.

My HP all-in-one printer model C5580 will not print. In my display it keeps giving me an error code of B808268C. I have shut it off and on, checked all connections but nothing helps.. It acts like

1. Verify that the unit is switched on.
2. Open printer and remove ALL cartridges.
3. Unplug the power cord from the printer. (not from the outlet)
4. Now unplug the cable form the wall outlet
5. Wait 30 seconds.
6. Plug the power cord back into the printer.
7. Plug the power cable directly to the wall outlet (not to a surge protector, etc)
8. Open the top cover and reinsert the cartridges.
9. Turn the unit on.
10. Print a document to test

solution :
1. Uninstall driver printer and remove Printer USB cable from computer. After uninstall finish, restart printer.
2. Reinstall driver printer (don't connect printer USB cable to computer). Wait for the install process, until message "connect a printer USB cable to computer". After message appear, connect printer USB cable to computer.
3. Wait process install finish and try to print.

Try to restart the print spooler service. Here is the link

Please try this solution.
Remove the USB cable into the printer and leave the printer on.
Remove all the cartridges.
Close the cartridge door and wait for the INSERT INK MESSAGE to appear.
Disconnect the power cable and from the power source supply.
Move the carriage using your hand from the original position to the other side of the printer and then move it back to original position. Wait for couple of minutes
Reconnect power cord and turn on the printer.
Return all the ink cartridges and close the door. Wait for the calibration process.
Print the test page to check if it working.
Reconnect the USB cable and try to print again.

try a known good USB cable, or at least try using a different USB port on your PC. Also, see to it that your USB cable is not weaved through power cables as they may create interference.
On a different note, does your printer show any signs of life when you plug the power cord in: LCD blinks and stays on with a "Ready" message, does the printer align heads, rolls in paper etc? If none of these things is happening when you plug in the power cord then you may be dealing with a bad power supply or a bad printer altogether.

My wireless will not connect to my macbook

First two are mentioned here,

if you are using a USB cable to connect, first you have ensure that is system is working perfectly and turned on, secondly make sure u have the printer turned on after proper connection with your usb to your computer from the printer, this is suppose to pop up a message demanding for printer driver installation.
If it does not respond, you have to check your USB port on your system or the USB cable. check these i believe one will certainly work for you. thanks gud luck.

first make sure that your printer is directly connected to the wall socket.
Now unplug the power cord from thew back of the printer & press and hold the # and 3 keys together and plug in the power cord back into the printer (partial reset). check if it resolves the problem, if not then unplug the power cord from thew back of the printer & press and hold the # and 6 keys together and plug in the power cord back into the printer (semifull reset). check if it resolves the problem, if not then. take out all the cartridges from the printer & unplug the power cord & plug it back in without inserting the cartridges. once the printer powers on it will give you an error "ink cartridges missing" or it will ask you to insert the ink cartridges, then insert the cartridges in the printer 1 by 1 starting from the black (hard reset). This should resolve the problem. please let me know the same

Please follow the follwoing steps,

1) unplug the power cord at the both ends from the printer and wall outlet. connect to wall out let directly dont connect to printer.
2)Press and hold # and 6 while reconnecting the power cord to the product hold for 1 min after plugging the power cord, and then release both buttons, this should resolve the issue.
