I have a sony Tv Model no. KV-XS29M33. Recently it has stoped working. when i switch on the Tv the Red indicator light flashes twice after 3 seconds per interval. It is mention in theservice book that this Tv is fitted self diagnosis function and that the red flashing light it is related to some perticular problem.Kindly help me in this regard ; wether i can solve this problem my self at home or i will have to take it to some sony service center.

I have 55 in sonny lcd model number kdf-E55A20 The sound and picture goes off and comes back on and off again. I can hear the fan running inside dont know if there is one or two fans can it be over heating or lamp going bad?

I got a used big tv from a neighbor and I plugged it in and tried to turn it on. Whn I press the power button, the tv flashes like it is going to cut on. However nothing happens, I noticed that the red stand by light is flashes 11 times, then a long pause and the flashing contines 4 more times and then pauses, it continues this 4 flashing pattern as long as the TV is plugged in. I am assuming that it is some type of diagnostic indicator?

sony tv blinks standby every 3-5 seconds/no pic ..only sound for 30 seconds and then shut down//auth tech wants $99+$398 flat fee to fix// what a bunch of thieves!!! any suggestions ????
