Question about Pioneer CDJ-800 Turntable
My CDJ800MK2 struggles to read the cd for a few seconds then ejects the cd.
It is still under warranty but i do not have the original proff of purchase, i bought under finance but they still wont accept so i need to find a way of fixing myself or @ a shop for cheap as possible
Sounds like either the cd reader is dirty, or the traverse assembly is damaged (cd reader). If a professional cleaning does not fix the problem, then you'll have to have the cd reader replaced.
The part can be purchased here: PIONEER CDJ800 PART
But, self-repair is not recommended. You can buy the part, then take it with you to a qualified service center. Many times, they will mark up the cost of the part significantly, so you'll be able to save some money buying the part yourself.
