i have the same problem. i put a piece of paper like suggested and its seems to have fixed the problem. i guess the mouse is very sensitive and the grain patterns on my wooden table and the patterns on my mouse pad had something to do with it.

Yeah, happens to me too... After a quick glance at the instruction booklet (lol) it says that this brand of mouse was designed for use on their mousepads.

I guess the solution is to try different surfaces and clean the lens every so often.

Could there be some dust inside the laser eye or something else. On what surface are you using it. Try it on a blank piece of paper

Try cleaning the lens with some Windex or any other cleaning spray. Not too much, you don't want liquids in the mouse.

Razer Lachesis moves without touching

Greetings, I had this problem occasionally as well. Except I have the Habu instead of the lachesis. I fixed mine however, when I saw my cordless (yes, i keep it plugged in at the same time) Had been knocked off its charger by someone. When I replaced it (preventing outside interference form it) The problem with my migratory cursor was fixed. I see this was posted a couple months ago, but hopefully this helps some.

this could be tricky if you are not technically inclined remove the screw on the bottom of the projector four smaller size and four bigger size and 2 at the bottom near the connectors remove the lamp cover and the lamp itself then remove the focus ring and zoom ring then lift the cover from below near the lens slowly take care not to damage the plastic lock underneath it take sometime but be patient you are almost there hope this be of help cheers

Razer Diamondback turning on and off

acually, your problem is windows updates, I am using vista, and I have a Razer Copeprhead, I had similar problems as you, my mouse was working fine, but an update for the Razer Auto-Installed from Windows Update, which made my mouse start doing it. First it happened on my computer, now it happened on my dad's laptop, I first assumed the internal connection was damaged, so I was beating my mouse to death....CoD4 with mouse failure = ANGRY RAMPAGE! lol. So yea what it is is you have to COMPLETELY uninstall your drivers, then connect the mouse and re-install drivers, there ya go done!
