The beeping is your motherboard telling you that theres a problem with the card. it may work in your friends pc, but they probably have a different motherboard. what is the motherboard that you're using? make sure that they are compatible.

you could also make sure that you have the very latest bios for your motherboard. a simple update could fix the problem.

My Acer M5640 desktop lately when start up, after the beep nothing appear on the screen, hv to turn off the power and try again, somtimes it will be ok, what's the problem?

As the computer gives the beep it shows it is working, it has pass the Power On Self Test.

Your problem is a loose connection, either at the Graphics card slot or on the monitor VGA ports.

Check the VGA ports at both the Graphics card and at the monitor. Also clean the RAM modules of dust and reinstall.

Take care!

Black Screen after installing new NVidia 9400GT

Put the old card back in, remove the old drivers and restart it in VGA mode.
You don't say what operating system you use, but XP & Vista you should be able to hit F8 before the windows splash screen to select VGA mode or Safe Mode.
Once you do that you should be able to put the new card in and start it in standard VGA mode then load the new drivers.

Your Geforce 9400GT doesn't have a HDMI outlet. It only has DVI, D-sub and S video. So I'm not sure what you're asking.

Zoom X5 broken after firmware update

same happened to me, but i definitively put the new firmware. I send the modem back to support and got a new one.

maybe you can try to reset the modem in the very short, 2 to 4 seconds, startup procedure.

i had to do that, because i messed with the dhcp address table.

Monitor lives its own life ;) Turnes off and on in random moments

It sounds like there's a problem in the power supply or inverter section and it's just teetering on the edge of failure. The disruption of the signal is apparently just enough to kick it over the cliff until it's reset. Sooner or later, it'll need some help, like connections, capacitors, output transistors, capacitors, transformers. Those are the most common failures in these. I think you'll see it get worse
