I bought one of these at a thrift store recently and got the manual with it. According to the manual E-02 means the baking area is cold. To reset, unplug the unit and allow it and the baking area to warm. Then try again.

Mine is flashing E-07 and I have no idea what that means. The E-07 message is not in the manual, So I have that question pending if anybody knows what the problem is.
