Try putting the unit in standby via the "SRC" button FIRST..., then press the menu button and cycle through to the "AUX 1" option and activate this....then press menu button again. When the unit is next switched on, you should have an "AUX" option accessible via the "SRC" button which will cycle through all of the availale modes ....standby-tuner-cd-aux etc etc.

People keep saying "press the menu button and cycle through to the "AUX 1" option " as do the instructions but when I 2cycle through" there is no AUX 1 option!!! That's the problem.

On my mp728 I had to choose the radio or cd source and then hold the volume button for a minute. The I scrolled through and turned "2 zone" on. Once I did this I was able to turn aux on in the main menu.

Perfect fix! My own fault for losing the manual in the first place!

Just bought a car with this stereo. Was working fine and then I accidentally was messing around trying to figure things out and put it in demo mode. Now it's stuck!! Can someone please help?!?!

With the stereo on, hold the large round button in to get to setting menu. When it gets to that, I believe clock adjust comes up first, just turn the knob to get to demo mode and then push the button in. Turn the knob to switch demo off and then push it again. That should do it.

With the Uniden UH7700NB How do I tell which is positive and negative on the power input THANK YOU

You can connect the radio to any standard 12 volt DC power source, with either a positive or negative ground. If you don't know whether your power supply uses a positive or negative ground, consult the manual for your power supply or contact the manufacturer.

I have a boss 400w riot 2-4 channels, how do i connect the high level wires? Because stereo doesn't have rca's

to use the high level leads, you have to isolate the wires going to each speaker (if using 4 channel mode) or isolate the wires going just to the rear if you are using 2 channel mode. you have to strip a small piece of the insulation off each speaker wire, and run it into the amps high level input harness. if you dont have the high level input harness, you can get a 2 channel high level to rca adapter for around $20. basically, you are tapping into the signal to the stock speakers to feed music to the amp. make sure you get all your positives and negatives correct. brighter wires are usually positive; however you may be faced with sa speaker which uses a grey wire, and another grey wire- the second with a black line. you will have to, again, turn to internet research to determine which is positive and negative, if the colors are not obvious.

My ripspeed incar dvd player has got no picture but has got the sound what can i do to make this work

First thing comes to mind is a possible update to the system. Have you had it for a while now? If so, you should go to the computer and go the maker of the unit. Check under software updates or downloads to see if there has been a remedy or fix that the maker has published, if so...then do as it says to do and see if this resolves the problem before you get into the actual technicals of the unit. It may need nothing more. I hope this helps.

JVC KD-R330 Won't turn off Demo mode - tried instructions. Every time I follow the instructions (Turn on, Hold Menu, push "vol" button, change to Demo off...etc) It doesn't work. In fact, as soon as I...

Hi,

Do you have a Bluetooth adapter plugged into the KD-R330?

A compatible Bluetooth adapter (like the KS-BTA100) usually plugs into the rear auxiliary port of the receiver. It then needs to be "paired" with your Bluetooth device, for example, a Bluetooth phone headset.

What you're describing sounds like what can when no Bluetooth device has been "paired" yet.

If you don't HAVE a Bluetooth adapter connected to your KD-R330....is it possible you accidentally plugged something into its rear auxiliary jack? Or the front auxiliary? In other words, is it possible your KD-R330 receiver is mistaking some other device for a Bluetooth adapter?

Don't know if that helps at all...if there's no adapter issue, and nothing connected to the AUX jacks, probably your next step should be a call to JVC, or whatever number you were given for tech support.

On the bright side, since the receiver turns on, and responds to some commands, you probably didn't mess up anything major in the wiring. And, there's also the possibility the receiver is defective....certainly if this continues, and JVC can't help you, trying a replacement might be worth a try.

BTW, feel free to post a reply...I'm going to look further to see if there's any other documented issue besides an adapter that might cause the problem you're having.

Can't switch to the auxiliary

try useing it.. plug your aux cord into whatever your using (mp3 player) as maybe your radio won't switch to aux until it senses that there is audio being played through the input aux cord?

RCA CABLES

RCA cables are the best way to get the audio from your head unit to the amp. If your head unit doesn't have RCA outputs, you might be able to use the speaker outputs of the head unit to connect to the "high power" or "high level" inputs of the amp, if the amp has such inputs (check your manual).
