If there's buzzing coming out, there's probably a rip in the actual speakers. Something is torn on the inside thus the weird buzzing noise.

Unless it was a zzzzzzzzz...... noise then there's probably some sort of interference. Possibly cellphone close by, or some other magnetic thing to create that annoying sound.

I have creative A60 2.0 speakers plugged in to PC but sound only coming out from left speaker

The plug going into the PC is a stereo plug - it has a section for right, left and ground (return). If it's not plugged in all the way or the mating connector is faulty, you will have the symptom you describe.

Creative A60 speakers plugged into PC, sound only coming from left speaker, they both work ok with mobile phone etc

Lower the volume a little then unplug the speakers and touch the blank parts from the plug. Listen it both speakers give a hum. If so, you have to look in the computer. First check settings like volume and balance, then check you did plug in correct and if it is still only left, perhaps you have to replace the sound card. (or plug one in)

Suddenly, my speakers won't make any sound. this morning they worked perfectly, and i've checked the input is fine (it works well when i plug headphones in the volume control) and if i plug my ipod, still...

if you are having problems with your sound
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
hope this helps

Creative Inspire 5200 system won't work

Hi. Check your speaker system with a different audio device like iPod or any MP3 Player using the same jacks. If the speaker system gives out sounds then nothing is wrong with it... if no sounds come out, then you know what I mean...

Try to replace the speaker of your sub-woofer... maybe that can fix it!

Volume goes up and down by itself

Sounds like an issue with your audio drivers, not your speakers, however check to make sure the speakers are connected tightly first on both ends.

If you're plugging into a card on the back of your PC try to get a driver for your sound card.

If you're plugging into a built-in port in the back of the PC (near keyboard/mouse input) then you should try getting different drivers for your motherboard.

Last but not least... if you don't have an actually sound card in an expansion slot you can always add one and it should fix your problem.

Try rebooting twice. If that doesn't work, then...

Is it a problem with the speakers themselves, or a problem with the sound card/driver?

If it's a sound card/driver problem, connecting external speakers won't help. Try downloading and installing new drivers from the following link... this driver is for Windows Vista.

If it's a problem with the speakers (in my opinion, unlikely), you can always plug in a set of headphones, or get an adapter for your CREATIVE SPEAKER at your local Radio Shack, or similar store (maybe even Wal-Mart).

No sound from Creative Labs Speakers- Please help

to localised your problem, try to plug your speakers to other sound source like mp3 player ,stereo system. if still no sound coming from it,your problem is within the speaker system. perhaps the audio power amplifier ic inside, need to be replaced.
