Re: screen is white

Only Fuji can solve this one it is a CCD failure and the camera will have to be replaced depending on the age it may be replaced for free.

Canon ixus 50 screen went into phsycadelic pattern purple black and white. Now screen is black. Lens moves out a little and only retracts fully with assistance. Battery is fully charged.

take it apart ie take the battery out, the memory card out and put it back together putting the battery back in last and try and turn it back on, if that does not help then I would get in touch with Canon and see if you can swap it or get it repaired via warranty if its still under warranty.

If you have had it less then 3 months you may be able to take it back to the shop where you got it from ( whether its online or physically at a store ) and see if you can get a replacement.

Shows white lines after the pic is taken with kodak v1003

Check your lens. Clean with soft cloth they sell at most camera stores. If this does not resolve. You should bring it back to the store if its only 3 months they will give you hassle but its worth if for working camera

Rainbow colours down the screen

If the Photo is OK then it would appear to be a LCD fault. Checkout Nikon Customer support. At a guess if this more than 2 years old a new camera would be a more economic option.

White screen with ghost images

If the photo shoot out show white , the obscure (quality variation), and even horizontal line ( white lines), and so on over-exposure cases, even if the use of anti-tremor, set to default values are invalid, because the camera shutter fault.

It's need repair camera machine shutter.

Zoom error

I'd estimate 80% of point and shoot cameras suffer from this problem. Usually due to some sort of impact or dirt in the lens mechanism. Personally I'd be taking your camera to a good technician unless you're technically minded yourself. I certainly wouldn't recommend that "grab the lens and pull and twist "method. That can cause delicate components in the lens mechanism to be literally ripped out of the lens barrel. Also the days of "kick it to make it work" have long gone. So avoid the bash the camera on the desk or table top. The lens is an extremely delicate mechanism please treat it as such and give yourself a chance at it being repaired. If the quote turns out to be rather excessive then consider cutting your losses and invest that money in a newer model. To recoup some of the loss you could always sell the damaged camera on Ebay for spare parts. If the thought of Ebay scares you, ask around to find an Ebayer who is willing to sell the camera for you. Let's face it, today's domestic digital cameras are built to last for the warranty period and unless you're lucky, that's about it. BMW
