Same Problem

-   I am trying to replace the heating element on the Bosch SHU53 dishwasher. I do not have a repair manual so it is not clear how to get to the old heater. I noticed the blog comments on the circuit board and loose solder points. How do I get to the circuit board? -   heaterfix

-   Same problem for mine, i first found one of the plugs not pushed on properly to the circuit board on the control module. I pushed this back on and it worked really well for about 3 weeks. Now the problem has come back so today i have pulled the circuit board out of the control unit and found 2 cracked solder joints to what looks like a relay? Have now soldered them and will report back if it works. Nice to be able read about others with the same annoying problems.

-   I have had the same problem with no heat and I found three dry solder joints on the 12v relay and it fixed the problem. Will update if the problem continues.-   irvs351

-   Dishlex 302 WB not heating water, found dry solder joint on 12v relay repaired
worked for two more weeks, now same fault.
Relay OK and works, heating element OK, no more dry joints found.
Could it be water flow/level control.?? (Boy a circuit would be good)
Now thinking of wiring in test points to check as it goes

as a normal rule dishwashers inly use cold water to fill and then warms it up, look for a faulty heater element, test with a multimeter

work with safety and unplug when working on appliances

if i have helped please rate me
