Hi folks - first time poster here. This dishwasher (Maytag MDB6800AWV) has been acting up for some time. Every once in a while when the cycle was finished we would open it and the main wash detergent was still left in the pocket (door open). I decided to watch and listen to it for a cycle. It fills the tank for prewash, runs that through, drains. It never refills, even though the motor comes on and it thinks it is washing - there is no water at all in the tub. The water inlet obviously works, the pump works at first.
Any suggestions?

- I am having the same problem. The water fills, but as soon as the pump starts, it drains the water back out and goes through the cycle without water leaving soap sitting there running down the door.- deadge
