I had the same problem, Based suggestion that the plug in the Radio is worn and not making contact, I used a small screw driver to shift the pin in the charger input hole from the center a little. That did it on both my Myfi;s. The now charge properly, and stay on as long as I need. Which needless to say, brings a smile to my face :) .

The jack in the plug inside the radio is worn and does not contact the plugs on any charger if you gigle the reciever in the cradle it might start charging but the inside connector must be replaced im trying to find the factory srevice that can repair by replacing the plug

Put it in the home charger, and put a book behind it forcing the unit to lean forward somewhat extremely....then it charges no problem... As a test, plug it into the home charger, and pull the radio toward you 5 degrees or more and you'll see the charge signal light up on the unit... then get a book or heave object to replicate the angle... it's worked for me for over a year now... same with the car charger, though a bit more tricky....

your antenna connection inside the unit is broken on the circuit board,i had one of these and repaired it numerous times by taking the unit apart and resoldering the connection at the board, also their antennas don't last long as far as the antenna plug end is concerned

Sounds like a bad battery. Try plugging DC adapter directly into the bottom of the unit and turn it on - does it still act-up? If so, bad radio; if it works with adapter only, then battery and charging issue.

Replace the battery. Your Myfi will not work without it -- even if it is plugged into the charger.

Dear xm2go,

I could not find any service options for my own Tao XM2go unit. The only option appears to be the Delphi MyFi unit which appears to be identical (see page 10 here: http://file.xm411.com/manuals/MyFiUserGuide411.pdf )

Tao won't start

Dear Jim,

My own Tao unit is dying as well. Servicing does not appear to be available. The only solution I have found is to buy the Delphi MyFi unit which appears to use an identical interface (see page 10: http://file.xm411.com/manuals/MyFiUserGuide411.pdf ). What a bummer!

Delphi xm2go internal antenna

Don't use the wearable antenna - reputed to not work well - was not a good design idea - I don't think any of the other receivers have this feature if that tells you anything. Record music you like on the myXM feature, and play that when you would otherwise want to receive on the antenna. If you are listening to live news, etc, there may be no good solution. (I have read there is an antenna headset, but don't know much about it, but some reports that it works.)

I have the same problem. I finally was able to get Delphi Tech Service and found out that these units have a flaw. they have been going out after about 14-18 months and there is no known repair... neither does Delphi offer a repair service for this problem.
