Brand new saw. Vibration so heavy it's nearly impossible to use. Had two previous identical saws. Both ran smoothly with minimal vibration. Would still have those saws if not stolen. Used this saw twice. After ten minutes I was feeling pain in wrists and elbows. I see no way to adjust. Defective? It would be a first for me with Milwaukee.

SOURCE: I have milwaukee 6535 sawzaw that has no power it

Hi, Well to be honest, I don't know either, not a typical failure mode. This model is equipped with several electronic features that could be at fault, which would require tearing it apart to troubleshoot. These saws do have a 5 year warranty and I think I would use it if possible. If you are unsure of the warranty period call in the serial number. 1800sawdust.

Is there a fix for heavy vibration

Sadly dewalts vibrate a lot! They don't have the counter balance the the Milwaukee and Makitas do. My guess is it's fine. I'd check the four screws that hold the gear case to the body regularly to make sure they stay tight.

16 inch poulan chainsaw got hot and started to smoke and now the recoil no longer works. I took the cover off and there is two springs that seem sprung. should I toss it and forget it or this something I...

how old is the polan 16 inch is it a solid body saw or does it have anti vibration handles, so your hands dont go numb after cutting for 15 minutes.reason i asked is: you can buy a brand new reconditioned homelite with anti vibration handle for 85.00&shiping.
at the very least, your polan needs the recoil starter fixed
and that does not address why the poulan got hot & started to smoke.
For the problems you described , at least $100.00 labor plus parts to fix at a chain saw shop
It might barely be worth it if you were a do it yourselfer and wanted to try to fix it.
if you dont want to be a diy chain saw mechanic, sell your polan for parts for $20.00 on ebay and buy a new homelite
16 inch 38 cc with anti vibration handle ,so you can cut for 6 hours straight, if need be. You get a reconditioned saw that is ready to go and a 90 day warranty. or buy the saw brand new for $110.00 and free shipping@ amazon.com

Severe vibration with Dewalt 744S Table Saw

try it with no blade
if you have unhabitual noise and vibration, probably need to change bearing
if you do not have a bearing puller do not try to do it yourself

professionals will take 2 to 3 times less time than you do the work and if there is something else damaged, (gear damaged,) he will see it and inform you

Vibration when blade on no vibration when blade off

you have a bad blade or the flanges are worn causing a runout of the blade, if you can watch the blade as it slows down you can see the wobble,

My skil 3400 vibrates across the floor

Quick question before we get into the answer. Does it have the stand with the the rubber feet or not?

Answer(s): The 3400 is a great portable go getter, but it is lightweight. It has a lot of torque for it's size and can do most any job you give it. The model does have an inherent vibration issue. Some more than others. If you don't have the stand, you will have to bolt it or clamp it to a heavy work surface / table. If you got the stand with the saw, it has two cross members on the legs at the same height. This sounds a bit harsh, but the best cheap solution is to get an 8 inch concrete block and bungee cord it to the top cross members on the stand. The weight should dampen the vibration so you can work on smooth surfaces. Use carpet strips under the concrete block to keep it from wearing down your cross members. Best of luck

Bad vibration and noise from saw

Are you sure blade is straight, and mounted on arbor correctly? that's the first thing to check. Or remove blade and 2 arbor plate's and run saw. If you have a vibration after that you have a bearing problem.( rear bearings go bad on these saw's) other they are the best saw for the price. We have about 50 of the 4000 model. hope that help's Never had a vib problem.

This thing vibrates so much that I can't feel where the saw begins or ends in my hands. It is new!!! Do all these things vibrate so much? I can only use it at about half speed or it slips out of my hands.

For the most part they do vibrate, that's why it is good to make use of the blade guard when cutting. It cuts back on the vibration. I have hand to use a saw without having that guard against what I was cutting and I thought I was going to have my arm fall off. You may want to check to see that the blade and that part the blade goes into are nice and tight. I've used many saws on different jobs, the best brand of saw for the vibration standpoint that I've found is Craftsman.
