How do i upload pics on my computer to facebook

Hi,

First, login to your facebook account. Next, click on the profile link at the upper right corner of your screen (You would see there Home, Profile, and account). Once on your profile page, there should be a tab named Photos (beside the wall tab and info tab), click on it. Once on that page, click on the create photo album button on the upper right corner of the tab. On the next page, you would be asked to create a photo album as well as select the photos (select the drive and location where your pictures are saved and click on the thumbnails of images to mark it for uploading) that you want to upload. after selecting the pictures and images, just click on the create album and then just wait for a couple of minutes while facebook uploads your photos. You would receive a confirmation whether you want to share it or not as proof that the images were succesfully loaded.

hope this helps

How do you put a picture on your profile on facebook

To upload a profile picture:

  1. Place your mouse over the upper right corner of your current profile picture or temporary image, and click on the pencil icon that appears.

  2. Select "Browse" to find a photo on your computer to upload.

  3. Select the photo to upload, check the box certifying that you have the right to distribute the picture and that it is not ****, and click "upload picture." If the picture is an acceptable size and file type, it will display.
If you have a webcam, you can choose "Show Camera" to take an instant profile picture. Be sure to select "Allow" so that Facebook can access your camera and microphone. Then, click the camera icon to take a picture, and choose "Save Picture" to set it as your profile picture.

You can also set any photo in which you are tagged as your profile picture by viewing the photo and selecting "Make Profile Picture."

I would like to transfer pictures from myspace to facebook, how would I do that with out uploading all of them again?

You have to upload them all again I'm sorry there is no way around it but I tell you this is the easiest way to do it! First create a folder on your desktop and label it facebook pictures next you go to your Myspace photo album that you would like to transfer and right click on the first picture and select Image Info! You will see that It comes up with a bunch of different link things well you hold down the Ctrl button and select all of the Image links that say Image under type! and hit Save As! Save it into your created folder Facebook Pics! You do this for every page and simply upload them to Facebook I'm doing this now actually and it is way faster than doing them one by one! Just remember you have to do it page by page but trust me its easier than picture by picture!

Image darkness

You might have to change your selected media choice. For example, if you are taking a close up picture you can select the face icon on the camera, etc. The problem is that the shutter isnt allowing that light to absorb in your lense which creates a darker image. You might have to use your flash or change the environment control to help the camera decifer where you are and what you are taking a picture of.. I own a D50 which is a Nikon, that is the same thing for me. I'm unsure of the coolpix, but typically you can point your lense towards ambient light to help the lense open up if its set to auto, then take the picture. Think of it as your eye, it needs that light in order to see.
