Question about Poulan 38-Inch Steel Deck 15.5 HP Briggs & Stratton I/C Engine With 5 Speed
My son put a new battery on our riding mower. However, he put them on backwards. Upon starting it the mower made an odd noise. Sounded like it was trying to start then grinded and nothing now not even electric signals after putting cables back correctly.
Probably burnt the solenoid that feeds the starter. cheap part, but difficult to get to.

For starters remove the battery and take it back to the store where you bought it and have them test it. Your solution may be to purchase another battery.
