    If your system is fairly important to you. You may want to try and contact Gigabyte. If your BIOS has a removable chip, for about $15-$20 dollars, they can send you a new BIOS chip. I've done that before for an ASUS mobo. Just a thought.

    Have you tried resetting the CPU, RAM sticks? Have you had any recent surges of electricity? Are you getting power? Have you tested or do you know how to test your power supply?

Oh, just try to reseat the RAM module. When not detected even beep code will not sound. Or clean also its edge connector with pencil eraser.

But if you are talking of your flashing your bios. Well that's another story.

Thats a hard drive error. Either drive is bad, Hard drive is not selected correcty in bios (press F2 when pc starts to go into setup), or your operating system has been erased.

Acronis loader fatal error- I can't boot up !

if your pc starts ok with no cd in than do it like that if you see this error all the time it means your hard drive is shot, or erased, or partially erased and needs to be setup again or replaced. got nothing to do with acronis if it does this all the time even with no cd in drive.

Bios password forgotten-->erased files??

your files will be safe. A BIOS password will not affect files on a hard drive, it just affects your ability to enter the BIOS screen on your laptop.

The bip-bip sound means that a necessary input/output device is missing or not working. Go to dell.com/support enter your service tag number download the manual (LINK included) if you have questions of how to search Dell Fourms. Please rate me mysleuth

I am afraid to inform you that your Notebook needs to be replaced.

As BIOS is the basic software (firmware) which will be interacting with all the Hardware in the Notebook, it may not be possible to do anything if it is erased from the BIOS ROM Chip.

However, there are few service centers around who will be able to Flash the BIOS so that you will be able to use it.

Actually, we are not supposed to even touch the Notebook when the BIOS is being flashed in Notebook like yours.

However, in latest HP Notebooks, the BIOS is being provided as Winflash which can be flashed within the Operating System by double clicking it.

Hope this helps...

Its probably bad ram chip. Check that it is seated correctly. Then use another PC to do a google search on beep codes and isolate the actual problem by you PC bios type..
