This function varies substantially depending on the make & model of voice mail system that you have. The voice mail system also needs to have a schedule defined that matches your (or your company's) business hours. Setting this schedule up is the responsibility of the system support person. From that point the procedure for recording your out of office or closed greeting will vary, per the make/model of voice mail equipment that you have. On some systems this is referred to as your extended absence greeting, on still others it is called your alternate greeting. On yet others they call it the 'closed' greeting. Hope this helps.
Since you neglected to specify the model of your Uniden DECT 6.0n system I can only suggest you select it from the list beginning here to download a copy of the manual.
what is the unit or model of your handset? Kindly identify it first:
For Nokia:
Go to Settings --> Phone Settings --> Welcome Note then you can change it..
For Sony Ericsson:
go to settings --> display tabs and then find the greeting in the list.. you can edit it right away.. : For Samsung: Go to Settings --> Display --> Greeting :) Have a nice day ahead!
