Hi, my Panasonic LCD TV model TX32 LXD52 is showing red with glittery effect all over the screen and picture, could anyone know which panel is faulty and where to get one, please help, see the video attached, thanks.
What happens when you have the menu on the screen could be the screen driver or the picture control control board. would depend on the menu display.
The menu seems not to bad with red out line on the lettering.
that would be the control chip on main board. you need to replace the chip. and then get into the service mode and reset the tv. chip can cost from arou 3 pound upto 10pound depending on were you can get one from. cannot remember the chip number but if memory serves me right its 28pin the screen driver cable come down to the main board and its in between the capacitors think they are 16volt. service code cannot remember how to get to it but it is done with the remote.

You probably need to replace the backlight. In parts less than 30$. If you know your way around these things, or know someone who does, it's not a super difficult thing to do. You can get a tutorial that's written for monitors here: http://www.inventgeek.com/Projects/shorts/lcdfix.aspx basically the same procedure for an LCD TV. Good luck!

Sorry, not repairable, because the LCD,PLasma, and DLP screen are limited produced.Replacing the tv pannel screen will cost the same as a new tv.Might even cost more after the labors. The tvs screen is about 90% of the tv,that why when is broken or damage, now it only use for it electronics boards parts,or sell for it electronics boards parts that it.
Testimonial: "thanks for the info....will have to scrap the TV for parts only. You've been helpful. Now I know what decision to make. Have a great day."
