It can be 2 things: Or the screen is dying, or the graphics card is dying. Try to start up with an external screen and see if it still blinks. When its still blinking on the external screen, your graphics card is dying, if the external screen shows no issue, then your screen is dying.

SOURCE: dell inspiron 1100 laptop screen won't light up

Sounds like a back light problem, power reset it, pull out the battery and ac adapter and then hold the power button for 1 minute, then replace the power cord and battery and start it up, if it doesn't work try calling dell to see if you can get it repaired under warranty if it is out of warranty take it to a shop.

SOURCE: dell inspiron blinking orange battery light. keybrd not respondg

Try this: remove your battery, unplug power, press and hold power button for at least 20 seconds, plug power cord back in but not the battery, press power and see if you get normal boot. If this is the case, your battery probably needs replaced.

remove the battery and insert again. if it continues then you will have to check the power source perhaps current it not enough for charging, if it continues then you will have to get a new battery

My dell 8200 inspiron laptop right speaker its not working

My guess is the speakers or connectors have gone bad. I have seen this in a lot of different laptops.

If you are handy, you can disasemble the laptop, find the speakers, and get a part number off of them. Dell is pretty good about labeling the part numbers. Then do a search on Google and Ebay for the speakers, I am sure you can find some cheap used ones that work.

Here is a manual for disassembly of your laptop, and shows where all the parts go. You will need Adobe reader to read this.

Dell Inspiron 8200 Won't Boot up. Not even to BIOS.

Latitudes sometimes have a problem with RAM. Try these things to get it to boot...
1. Remove the RAM modules, clean the contacts with a pencil eraser, reseat modules and test.
2. If two modules, remove one and test. Place same module in second slot and test.

Dell Inspiron 8200 Battery

I assume that you have your charger plugged in as long as you use the laptop...

There are very minimal chances o the battery having been damaged, since the casing on the inspiron 8200 is quite sturdy.. i suggest you get the charge socket (the socket that leads to the main wall electricity outlet) from a qualified technician...
