The problem you are describing is a problem with a sensor on the inside of the battery cover door. It seems to have failed and needs to be replaced. Following are the instructions to send your camera to Olympus for service.

Olympus will charge a flat rate repair fee for this product if beyond the one year factory warranty or the warranty is voided. The cost is $74 plus your local sales tax. This covers parts and labor, factory cleaning and diagnostic check, 6 month warranty and the cost of shipping the product back to you is all included in that price.

How can i remove my sim card to my nokia c7?

The SIM card is located beneath the battery pack. You must release the back cover latch, lift it up, remove the battery pack, and, then, access the SIM card slot. Please, refer to pages #8 and #9 of your phone's user guide (which you can download from this location, in case you happen to miss it) for further details.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.
Anyway, please, let me know if I can help you any further.
Regards, Carlos

I have a lexmark X3470 model - my problem is this - It says "Cover Open" after I replaced my inkjet cartridge. I've tried everything but it still says "Cover Open". Did I miss something?

Check the cover first making sure that it is seated properly and try depressing the switch which alerts you when the cover is open. If you depress the switch and if the issue still persists then please contact Lexmark technical suppport for further Assistance.

Note: The Switch is rectangular shape and is oriented's on the circuit board very near the top. You can see the tiny button that the lever arm pushes.this button faces the rear of the printer.

Toshiba Satellite 1400 Series Mini-PCI Laptop 802.11b/g Wireless

If you flip it over, you will see three slot covers going from left to right: the disk drive, memory, and wireless card slot covers.

  1. Get a flat head screwdriver and remove the slot cover.
  2. Disconnect the black and white antenna cables from the card
  3. Push the latches outward to release the card.
If you need further help, get the disassembly manual.

Assuming you have purchased a new sound card, it should have come with the driver disk.
First remove the side panel of the computer. Should be one or two screws in the rear of the PC.
Next, unplug the Power cable. (the thick black cable that goes to the power on the wall.)
You will need an open slot in which to insert the card.
The sound card will most likely have a PCI bus interface (meaning it plugs into a White PCI slot on the mainboard. The silver part with the jacks on it will be facing the back of the computer. Slide it into the white slot and secure with a screw or bracket. It should slide all the way into the slot; you have to apply mild pressure, but do not force it.
Once it is plugged in, connect the speakers (usually a green plug) and connect power, then start the computer.
Install drivers using the driver disk that came with the sound card. Then test sound using speakers.

How do I swap screens in Gateway 9300 Solo computer?

Before opening the laptops try easy things like swapping the memory. Also remove all cards underneath the panels you can get to (wifi. modem, etc) The machine will boot with just RAM inside it. This includes swapping batteries wich can cause failure. If you tried swapping basic parts. Video card and screens are the next step.

Replace the video card and the screen in the machine that  runs:
First, you want to get the two apart, the screen can be removed by locating the covers inside the lid where the screen is. Usually rubber feet or disc shaped plastic that matches bezel texture. slowly remove screws, also the hinges must be removed. The covers for the hinges usually pop off or are held be a screw in the rear of the laptop. The ribbon cable follows all the way down to the motherboard through one of the hinges, there is a way to guid it out of the hinge area. If you get lucky the screen cable connects to a
removable mini card which is your video card. The one with the
white screen may have a bad video card.

There is a sd card stuck where the cd should go. There is also a disk there. Do you know how to fix it?

If you can see the SD card, Get a toothpick and wrap Tape onto it then reverse the tape so that you have sticky on outside. See it you gcan retract it that way. You risk damaging the Disc eject system if you try to force the disc to eject by pressing the eject button more than 10 seconds. Once you get the SD card out you can do the 10 second eject button thing.
