Question about Maxtor Shared Storage II 2TB Network External Dual-Drive Hard Drive
I set the maxtor shared storage drive to a static I/P address and since then I cannot connect to the external drive. Is there a way to set this device to a manufacturer default...It worked out of the box just fine...
I have a similar problem. There is a reset pinhole switch just beneath where the Ethernet port is that if you push it is supposed to reset the drives name and switch it to DHCP. You can see this in the manual. Unfortunately, this hasn't worked for me and I'm working through another solution to see if I can find the IP it is attached to.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
