Ricoh c6501 sp error coad sc 925 solution

SC925 B Net File function error *GW The NetFile file management on the HDD cannot be used, or a NetFile management file is corrupted and operation cannot continue. The HDDs are defective and they cannot be debugged or partitioned, so the Scan Router functions (delivery of received faxes, document capture, etc.), Web services, and other network functions cannot be used.
HDD status codes are displayed below the SC code: • Refer to the four procedures below (Recovery from SC 925). Here is a list of HDD status codes:
Display Meaning (-1) HDD not connected (-2) HDD not ready (-3) No label (-4) Partition type incorrect (-5) Error returned during label read or check (-6) Error returned during label read or check (-7) "filesystem" repair failed (-8) "filesystem" mount failed (-9) Drive does not answer command (-10) Internal kernel error (-11) Size of drive is too small (-12) Specified partition does not exist (-13) Device file does not exist

Procedure 1
If the machine shows SC codes for HDD errors (SC860 to SC865) with SC 925, do the recovery procedures for SC860 to SC865.
Procedure 2
  1. If the machine does not show one of the five HDD errors (SC860 to SC865), turn the machine power off and on.
  2. If this is not the solution for the problem, then initialize the NetFile partition on the HDD with SP5832-11 (HDD Formatting - Ridoc I/F).
NetFiles: These are jobs printed from the document server using a PC and DeskTopBinder. Before you initialize the NetFile partition on the HDD, tell the customer:
    • Received faxes on the delivery server will be erased
    • All captured documents will be erased
    • DeskTopBinder/Print Job Manager/Desk Top Editor job history will be erased
    • Documents on the document server, and scanned documents, will not be erased.
    • The first time that the network gets access to the machine, the management information must be configured again (this will use a lot of time).
  3. Before you initialize the Netfile partition with SP5832-11, do these steps:
  4. Go into the User Tools mode and do "Delivery Settings" to print all received fax documents that are scheduled for delivery. Then erase them.
  5. In the User Tools mode, do Document Management> Batch Delete Transfer Documents.
  6. Do SP5832-11, then turn the machine power off and on.
Procedure 3
  1. If "Procedure 2" is not the solution for the problem, do SP5832-1 (HDD Formatting - All)
  2. Cycle the machine off/on.

Format

  1. If you have not already installed the Device Manager, download the .exe file to install the latest version of the Device Manager application from http://www.philips.com/support. Enter your language preference and the model number e.g.hdd070. Select Software under Product Support on the left of the screen. Scroll down and click on the .exe file of your preferred language under the category PC software. The program will install both Musicmatch® Jukebox and Device Manager in one go automatically.
  2. Connect the hdd to the power supply with the AC/DC adapter.
  3. Launch the Device Manager at Start->Programs->Philips GoGear HDD->Philips GoGear HDD on your PC
IMPORTANT: All music & content of your micro jukebox will be erased once the factory setting is restored.
  4. A dialogue box will pop up; click Restore and OK to confirm and start restoring the unit to its factory setting.
  5. Follow all screen instructions to complete the restoration.
  6. The Device Manager will close automatically once the success message is displayed. Safely remove your GoGear micro jukebox by clicking on the EJECT HARDWARE icon in your task tray bar. When prompted, "The USB Mass Storage Device can now be safely removed from the system", click OK and unplug your micro jukebox.

HAVE A DNS 313 AND INSTALLED NEW HDD. CANNOT REST TO FACTORY DEFAULTS AND HDD LED IS GREEN.

Hello wal4,

Is your HDD-LED solid green when you connect the device with a LAN cable and solid blue if an USB cable is used?
If so, then you may not have the appropriate firmware installed to your NAS. Do the following steps:
1.: Insert the CD which comes with the device
2.: Disable all firewalls (if you are afraid of disabling your firewalls, unplug your PC from internet and plug it into your 313 device... I did the same.
3.: Put HDD into the device. All data will be erased!!!
4.: Start Click n connect, follow the on-screen instructions (I didn't remember which option to choose when it asks what to do, maybe new HDD installation, but I had to format my HDD to get it working.

An interesting fact that was told me by a D-Link customer care guy here in Hungary:
DNS-313 do not store firmware in an onboard chip, it stores on the HDD. This is why you cannot use the device's GUI and network solutions. You have to format the HDD BY DNS-313, so click n connect will be able to install firmware to your HDD...

If you...
- haven't got a hardware problem and
- use the CD which comes with the device (there are many hardware versions and it is not easy to select the right one even if you know which is yours because there are exceptions. You can make the right decision ONLY if you know the HW version AND the serial No. You should then check at D-Link's website which firmware version will be OK for you).
- have an HDD which is compatible with the device you might not have any problems.

Cannot format my MY Passport HDD 250GB...Showing ERROR in Erase!

You shall once more format the HDD but this time don't opt for quick format. This time select create a MS Dos bootable. Once you have formatted and if success it will work. You have 90% chances it will work. If it doesn't comment back will give you another option to make it work.
