my DVR powers down completely after recording. I can not power it back up without removing the power cord and then putting it back. Sometimes it can take many many times

Hi All,

This is a power supply problem.... the MR2920 stanby IC miss behaved, it power off and fail to power back on.

Solution, get pioneer power supply replacement or take the dvd recorder to your local electronic service repair to take a look at the power supply circuit.
