Question about Dometic Rooftop RV Air Conditioner
The unit reaches the set temp and the fan stops but the compresser continues to operate (i hear a loud humming sound)
Turn the unit off before you damage your compressor. You probably have a contactor that is stuck in the closed position. You will need a new contactor. Be carefull if you try to replace it yourself. You will be dealing with both high and low voltage. If you wire it wrong you could damage the a/c or more importantantly you could hurt yourself.........
