I have an oster My Blend with the blade stuck in the base. Any ideas on how to get it out? Model BLSTPB-WBL

None of these people understand your question. The blade assembly is stuck in the blender base and will not untwist out of the base. The sport bottle untwists off the blade assembly leaving it in the blender base. I've tried using pliers on mine after taking it apart. Something is binding it from untwisting. What is the trick to untwist the blade assembly off the blender base?

Blade on MD95 not spinning

The shaft has probably siezed at the bottom near the blade. The seal can fail and let liquid inside the shaft and gunge it up.
Take the orange handle apart, then unscrew the four steel pins, then pull out the motor. From the blade end, take the screw from the blade and prize it off. Then pull the shaft out from the top and clean it. It may be stuck - push a blunt nail or similar in the bottom to free it. Clean the shaft and solidified debris inside the tube. Then reassemble carefully.

Blender does not blend, only buzzes. So I took the blender jar off the motor base and tried running it. It ran just fine. Put the jar back on the base and it only buzzed. Figured a piece of frozen fruit...

Smart move. The blade assembly is almost frozen and the motor does not have enough torque.. You need to remove the blade assembly and completely clean out the bearing and reassemble after the Mr. clean operation. A lite dab of oil is also called for.

The blade in my Super 5000 wet container turns very stiffly.Should I take it off and lubricate it? There also seems to be water visible under the bottom of the container.

Stiff or stuck blade problems can be fixed by replacing the two bearings and seal inside the blade assembly. Care must be taken in installing the new bearings as not to damage them. Ideally they should be pressed in, on a press, but they can carefully be tapped in using a sockets to match inner and outer races so your not tapping on the balls.

Blade won't spin

Check the blade with it off the base and make sure that it spins freely. Check the spindle on the base and see if it feels hard to turn. If the spindle turns too easy , then the connection inside the base is broken and needs replacing.

I am unable to remove the blade, what can I do

the blade is a screw fit on the shaft of the blender,, if you only use one blade just rince the blade under the tap and dry it off before putting it away, the only way to un-screw the blade if its stuck is give it a sudden jolt on the side of the blade with a soft hammer in the same way as it turns,,this may shake it lose,,,not to hard though,,,
