Try disabling startup programs. Go to Start > Run (search in Win 7) and type MSConfig. In Startup tab, uncheck anything that you don't want Windows to load automatically. It will make Windows boot faster and use less resources while running. This just disables them in startup. Programs will still load, but when only you initiate.

To Remove ?Your Computer Might Be At Risk? Message from your computer tray

Continuing our HOW TO series,we’ll look at how to remove ‘Your Computer Might Be At Risk’ alerts coming up in the tray icon on Windows XP based PCs.
If you disable/turn off the default ‘Windows Firewall’ or if you turn off Automatic Updates(Not Recommended) or if you don’t have any updated anti-virus program running on your Windows XP based computer, you would see some annoying message/alert coming at the tray icon of your PC.
It is actually intended to alert the user, however many PC users find it annoying.
So follow the below points to turn it off.
Navigate to Start>Settings>Control Panel>Security Center
Once you’ve launched the security center, look at the left hand side of the window.
Look for the ‘Change the way security center alerts me’ under ‘Resources’ tab.
Uncheck all the options to completely turn off the security center alerts. That’s all,You’re done.
Note:However,it is Always highly recommended to turn on your firewall/automatic updates and update your anti-virus program.

I have a windows vista and I can't connect my wireless HP Photosmart C7100 all in one series to it, what can I do?

Were you trying to connect your printer to your PC using bluetooth?
First, turn on the bluetooth device on your computer. Its icon will appear on the system tray.
Then right click the bluetooth icon. A selection box will pop-up, select add a Device. Your computer will automatically search for any bluetooth enabled device. If your printer's bluetooth is active, it will be found.

After login desktop doesn't appear im using

Hello,

It seems you have a virus, where you only see the mouse pointer and no desktop icons nor start bar ?
Please update anti-virus database then run virus scan.

If you are sure you do NOT have a virus, try to do a system restore to a point when you know the laptop was working with desktop available.

For Windows Vista/7, press on start then type in SYSTEM RESTORE, double-click on the icon that comes up, choose "Restore previous point".
