Problem Solved --- Agree with the comment about "not buying the cheap ink". Stick with the Canon PiXMA (PGBK 5) and (BK 8) black ink refills. The printer can be cleaned and/or deep cleaned using the Menu Button to find this function.

Run cleaning a few times. If its still not working, buy another black cartridge and stop refilling it with cheap ink that can easily clog the internals and complete cease function. If its already clogged, it will cost more to fix than the cost of a new printer.
