Hold F2 or Del (depending on your bios) to enter the bios config.  Turn off IR.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)

What is the code for a yamaha dsp -ax 620receiver codes

PS3 BD remote is Bluetooth, not infra red. Bluetooth and Infra red are two different ways of transmitting signals. They are not cross-compatible. So there's no code to allow a PS3 BD remote to operate any Infra red device becuase the PS3 BD remote does not issue IR commands.

My Night Owl Cyclops NOCC3 night vision monocular wont pick up the infra red light properly so I can't view anything at night!!!! I haven't the lens cap off in light only when it's dark out and it won't...

Hello, is the IR glowing red, don't look into the IR lens. Just place your hand in front of it and see the is a red glare on your had. If there is a red glare then IR is work.
Another thing when you taking a look see through the Night owl NV monocular there should be a green glow from the image intensifier tube, if not, then the NV monucular isn't working properly. stewbison

I am trying to register my new laptop and I keep getting a screen that says "Error. Please try again". I have tried this several times. Please help... julie.bistram@yahoo.com

Hello
Have you done a reboot and then tried? Next Do you have internet or a connection.

Make sure the drivers for your ethernet card are installed,do this by going to control panel/system/device manager. look for network adaptor,if there is a yellow or red flag that means you do not have a connection.

The drivers are either on a dvd that came with the laptop or on the windows setup cd.

If you do have a connection call the microsoft support center listed on the register page, you may need a new key.

CAN I CONNECT THE PRINTER VIA BLUE TOOTH OR INFRA RED. DOES THE PRINTER HAVE THE FEATURE IN BUILT

Go to the manufacturer's website and search for your printer. Check the specs and see if it has IR or bluetooth (BT) capability. If it has then you can connect it via IR or BT provided your laptop/PC has an IR/BT port built-in or a USB device having such capability.

Note that using IR may not be a good idea as it reuires the sensors to be aligned all the time or a print error will be generated. Better use USB/wired connection or use BT if possible. Also you will need proper drivers and software in each case. These can be found on manufacturer's website as well.

Cannot connect wireless keyboard and mouse

I am assuming that this is an INFRA-RED device, with
plug and play capability.

1) Make sure that the infra-red port is turned ON on your PC,
in the BIOS and in Windows (using control panel)

2) Make sure that the infrared driver is working:

My Computer ==> Right Click ==> Properties ==>
Hardware ==> Device manager ==> ....

Find the Infra-red device and check its status.

Some laptops have a mechanical switch witch controls all
wireless ports. If you shut-off the Wi-Fi, the blue-tooth and
the infra-red will also be disabled.

3) Check for tiny reset buttons on the keyboard, mouse and
the receiver. Press them repeatedly.

4) If the device is communicating, and infra-red ICON
should appear on you taskbar (RHS).

Right click the icon and make sure you enable IR
communications AND plug and play.

5) Make sure you have installed any drivers that came with
the keyboard, if any.

6) Again, make sure that infra-red communications are enabled
in the control panel.

5) Failing that, it is possible that the keyboard is defective,
or the infra-red port on your laptop is NFG, it would not
be the first time.

6) You may want to take your keyboard to a computer
shop, and ask the staff the try it with a different PC.

Alternately, try a different keyboard with the laptop.

Ir devices

Infra red light is present all about us. It is generated by most types pf artificial lighting, and also by the sun. If yo have an infra red beam that is misfiring, it probably relates to some reflected light from a fast moving source that is triggering your beam. Hope this helps, not really sure what a beak beam is... guessed it was a typo. Give me a bit more about your problem if i ahve not helped thus far
