Question about RCA RTD255 System
I just bought a used RTD255 system, and it seems to be working great. However, the DVD loader door is completely broken. It seems the little pegs that attach to the door have broken off. I am having some success super- gluing them back on, but I am not really sure how the little springs attach to the door assembly, and, more importantly, how the springs then attach to the inside of the unit. Does anyone have a picture of the assemble close up so I can see where I am supposed to poke those things? Thanks so much.
I have the same TV and my problem is that I bumped into the tray and now can not figure out how to get it to slide in and out. I am able to get it to click into place but not slide in completely. Any Suggestions?

I have this unit in front of me and will try to explain. The springs act to close the door. Each spring pivots on a black pin that the door itself pivots on. The loop end of the spring goes on the hook on the back of the door. The kinked end of the spring goes underneath the retainer on the black plastic part which has the pivot pin. If this isn't clear, contact me at rumreich at gmail dot com.

Generally they put pressure on the door panel to "open" the door, doesn't really matter where as long as they are out of the way of the disk and the hinge, if you do it correctly they will self seat and not be an issue. hope this helps just keep thinking about it and it will become obvious, while you look at the assembly.
