I have installed a couple of games on my computer and the graphics are all jumpy

I should be. We had problems with our computer and replaced the hard drive. Before we replaced the hard drive the games played just fine. On the old hard drive we had Windows Vista Home Premium. Now on the new one all we have is Windows Vista Home Basic. Could it be the Vista program? I installed one of the games on my laptop that does have the Premium and it works just fine.

Its most likely due to your video card being old/to small to play some of your games, I would recommend buying a 512 Megabyte+ video card.

Hiya ive just installed silent hunter 5 and it seems the graphics cardbisnt good enough is it possible to purchase a better graphics card as this laptop is only a couple of months old?

Unfortunately it is not possible in a lower end computer. Lower end computers have integrated video cards on the motherboard. High end gaming laptops typically will have a replaceable graphics cards but generally run over $1000 (for the laptop)
Anything with Intel graphics chips are so so terribly sub par to even the cheapest discrete graphics cards I'm afraid.
You can build a budge gaming desktop for around $700.

Well there might be something internally wrong with the console like the graphics card
is broken or if just might be on its last life then. If its on a digital tv you need the av cables for it to work then instead of the rf switch.

i think your problem sits with your graphics card and drivers on your pc if it lags and is very slow your system is not right for that game you may also not have enough ram check the system requirments for the game on its cover you will see what your pc needs there to be able to play it

Dazzle DVD Recorder lags when it records, so video comes out really laggy and jumpy, help?

Disconnect your dazzle and reconnect it at the back of your computer. Click on Start>Control panel>system>hardware>device manager>sound and video games controller> right click on video capture device and uninstall it. Restart your computer. Open your IDVDR and then try to check if the same things again.

Devil May Cry 4 PC loads intro OK but freezes at game startup

To check the video card do this:
Go to Control Panel then Device Manager, then click on Display adapters. This will tell you what it is. According to the games Minimum Requirements, you need at least a Video Memory: 256 MB (nVidia GeForce 6600 SM3 Required).

If your computer runs anything entitled INTEGRATED video graphics, it will not be able to handle the game. That is a problem with buying PC games, they are very demanding at times and require a reasonable video card to run.
If you don't have a good video card, you can try and return the game and explain what happened.
Hope this helps you out. Please don't forget to rate this solution :)

Flickering games red jumpy video

Do you have the latest version of direct x installed? Direct x sometimes can cause problems with games using 3d acceleration, as some versions of direct x are not fully compatible with the video card and/or the video card drivers.
