Question about Lands Phones
My intellifax 1960 c did not come with the user guide. Do you need a separate phone line for the fax and phone or can you use one line? And if need two lines which i do have, do you need one of those two way plugs?
You do not need 2 lines for a fax/phone. The only trouble is that you will not be able to tell the differance between a phone call and a fax unless your called first. There is a feature call distinctive ringing that should be offered through your phone company. The different types of ring would indicate a phone call or fax. The answer to the 'splitter' is that if you plug in your fax machine directly into the jack, most newer fax have a 2nd plug in the back labeled 'ext', this is where you can plug in a phone for the same number.
