you have checked the bulb? if so the the switch of disconnect from supply first and have a look at the condition of the switch it might be full of goo. joe

check to be sure that the fan works, and if it does check to be sure that the air flow path to outdoors is not clogged. one way to do this is to remove the hood and slide a dry garden hose through the entire vent pipe to the outdoors.

I would suspect moisture has gotten into the switch. You may have to replace the switch if the innards have degraded.
