Avira antivirus disappeared folders and files

After scanning with avira antivirus folders and files have been disappeared but disk space has been occupied by the files. How can I restore these files ESET antivirus seems to have disappeared folders and files from my external hard drive.I know the files and folders are still occupying the disk space but when i browse the E: drive (the connected hard drive), it does not show the folder anymore.I can still scan through the folders/files present in the hard drive.I used a 320 GB Seagate free agent go drive. It still shows data occupied is 43 GB which is my folder size. Please help how to again able to see my folder and get back my files.

I cant open folders from my flash memory the problem is that my computer cant find file 0xFFD12566.exe

0xFFD12566.exe is a computer virus. You need to full scan all your drives, including your flash memory, using an anti-virus. If you don't have an anti-virus I recommend avira anti virus which you can download for free on this link:

Thanks for using fixya!

Update me if problem still persists after following my instruction.

Avira AntiVir Personal
Avast! Free

This shows that Avira has the highest virus detection as it finds 99.8% of virus' on on your system.

The best FREE AntiVirus programs according to false/positive alarms on a clean file set are:
Microsoft Security Essentials 3 files
Avast! Free AntiVirus 5 - 9 files
