Modelnn-h264/s254 1100 watts

I have a black over the range mic The window always looked dirty with water stains from the outside so i took off the vapour seal inside hoping to be able to clean from inside. This is not possible however . The vapour seal did not stick back on as securely as necessary and now more moisture collects under the seal and the window is more spotted than before. my question is can the moisture seal be replaced by something such as a decal material used for ads on car windows and can the window be removed from its casing for cleaning

This door screen as it's called protects the metal mesh screen from moisture and food debris. The door screen must be replaced or the mesh screen can arc and be damaged, which can lead to microwave leakage. You can order a new screen from Panasonic at: It may be this part: F31455H00AP DOOR SCREEN A 5.75 But it might be better to call Panasonic at 800-833-9626 and be sure this is the right part. Be sure to have your FULL model nuber (with suffix) when you call. Be sure to use a cleaner like acetone, etc. to remove all the old adhesive before applying the ne wone, or it will not stick. The door must be squeaky clean and dry.

We have an LG LMV1640DB1 over the range microwave. When we boil anything on the stove with the fan set on HIGH, the steam just goes up the kitchen cabinets and the microwave is completely wet. Is this an...

Maybe, but your filter may be clogged, or your outside vent outlet may have a bird's nest or mouse nest in it.

If you're venting to the outside, you would be using a grease filter. They should be washed in hot soapy water every six months or when they get dirty.

If you're not venting to the outside, then you should be using a disposable charcoal filter. That cannot be washed, it must be replaced every six months or whenever it gets too dirty.

Refer to your installation manual and/or owner's manual.

If for some reason you don't still have yours, you should be able to download your LG / Goldstar manual here.

If not, you can download a similar one there or contact them via that page to order one.

You can find parts links here.

Need to replace broken door handle. Cannot get to screws inside door to release broken handle and replace with new handle.

Look for a removable insert around the inside window. If not there may be screws along the outside edges to separate the door sections. Eric

Try unplugging the microwave for about 30 seconds, then plug back in. This may work. What you are doing is resetting the micro processor.

Sounds like you disabled the clock function. If you do not have the user manual, you can get a copy at this website and use the function keys to reactivate and set the clock...

I belive the information you seek is on page 12 of the manual.
Hope that helps...

Popcorn stain in Microwave

Uhhhmmm, paint? Inside a microwave? YUCK.... that would make food taste like paint.

The yellow stain from microwave able popcorn is most likely a permanant issue. I have heard of the vinegar water, bleach etc working, but never had it work for me.

I don't recommend you painting the inside of a microwave. Some paint is flammable. Almost all paints are toxic.

Panasonic microwave does not heat , but the rest seem's to work?

High voltage parts are suspect. Need to put a voltmeter on the input (primary) side to the high-voltage transformer (big heavy iron thing in there) Should be getting 120Vac when it goes to cook cycle. Don't touch the other (high voltage) side of this transformer. If the power is there, you are looking at replacing either the magnatron or the high-voltage capacitor and diode. Its affordable if you do it yourself - buy the part on EBAY - lookup "universal magnatron"
Hope ya fix it!

Kenmore Over the Range Microwave

If you think the window is stained, you ought to see the rest of the inside! Wife is probably right. (wink, wink, nod, nod)
Actually, you can take the cover off, remove the front panel without much effort and clean everything and get a lot more life out of it. Microwaves usually die because of heat related problems caused by buildup of yuck on the guts.
Hope Ya Make your Wife Happy!
