Question about Dell Inspiron 6000 Notebook
I have an Dell Inspirion 6000 that I am sure my backlight is out off. My monitor boots up red, then blacks out after 10-60 seconds. I have bought a new backlight and I am going to attempt to change it myself this weekend. I am not going to pay someone 300.00 on up to do this (going rate around here) I am using an external monitor now, and figure if I mess up the monitor I am no worse off then I am at this point. My question is : do I only need to remove the LCD panel area of the computer(which according to directions I downloaded from purchase site is the case) or do I need to actually take the whole computer apart. Thanks for any help and wish me good luck!
