put the chicken on a stick and spin it in the oven. connect the stick to a bicycle with the rear wheel disconbobulated. set the oven to 420 degrees and pedal. Now can you tell me why my oven wont turn on?????????????????????????????????
The clock controls the ovens. In other words, directly you set any time on the clock, a contact operates within it to provide power to the ovens. (Normally the grill remains operational). You may need a new clock/timer. Before you do so, try switching the power off at the main isolating switch and leaving it off for a few mins, then switching it back on, to try to get the clock to operate. You may need to do this a few times.
Normally Stoves stick a label identifying the model on the left hand edge of the lower oven. You see this when you lower the main oven door. it will probably start with a 05 and be 9 digits long. With this number you can identify the oven and obtain parts.
Hi bigg t. I dont know whether your controller is the same as the UK model, but the unit has to be calibrated when a new board is installed. The differential setting is crucial on these models and the instructions for setting it should be included in the box. Hope it helps. Simon
I dont know how old yours is but there was a recall on whirlpool wall ovens due to the dor not closing enough and when in the clean cycle too much hot air was getting into the control panel and causing a thermal fuse to blow causing the oven to not operate. There is also a non resetable fuse in the back that will cause no operation of the oven. So if you did not have the shim kit installed along with a new seal you should call whirlpool and have your model and serial number off the unit to give them and the will tell you if yours needs the updated fix. If it needs it the repair should be of no cost to you.
