    These can be due to:
    1>Many programs starting up automatically at system startup
    2>A virus/malware
    3>Some antivirus softwares make the system slower
    4>Large pile-up of old & unused files.
    5>Not enough RAM

It could be any of the possible problems hmerchant110 has posted. One simple fix is to click on the start menu----> click on run -----> type in msconfig ------> click on the startup tab and disable whatever you dont need, or heck you can disable all of it. :)

Extremely slow boot it is slow opening windows slow doing everything it takes like 30 min or better just to get into windows xp

david_rplry8: i think the problem you face is due to less memory in ur pc or i could give u some more hints if u could b abit more detail in explaining ur problem.

Apart from that i can simply make out from the bits of explaination that u jst did, is that you r running low in memory and you definitely need to upgrade if u r interested in making ur PC work fast.

Location off viruses is on SYSTEM RECOVERY and it can't be cleaned.It's just one way:

If u can change the PIN off HDD.It can do just programmer!
So my solution is just buy new hdd
