Solution detailed below.
Using the Remote:
1. Power On
2. Open Tray
3. Press Pause
4. Press 0000
5. TV will show blue screen with the following two lines:
a. Region Edit:
b. Region Code:
6. Enter 0 in Region Edit line (for Region Free)
6. Press Enter
7. Press Pause
8. Power Off
